Terms and conditions governing submissions

I confirm that I am the owner of all elements of my contribution to the Structures Database and that I agree to its unconditional use by D&T Online.

The views and opinions expressed in contributions are my own, and do not necessarily represent those of DTonline.

I understand and acknowledge that:

  • D&T Online has legal obligations towards me in how it deals with the personal data collected from my contribution and that my email address will never be published by D&T Online.
  • Any information which I provide will only be used within D&T Online and will never be supplied to anyone outside D&T Online without first obtaining my consent (unless D&T Online is obliged by law to disclose it).
  • D&T Online will ensure that all personal information supplied is held securely, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
  • If I am aged 16 or under, I confirm that I have obtained my teacher/parent/guardian's permission before providing personal information to D&T Online.

Adding new structures

Items labelled with a blue star are mandatory, all others are optional.

When submitting images, note that only jpegs and png files are accepted.

Bear in mind download times for users when considering the file size of images and files you upload. Images larger than 200k should be avoided if possible.

Image widths should be limited to a maximum of 800 pixels. If your source material is larger than this, reduce the image size using a suitable application such as Xara X, Gimp or Photoshop.

Images must be PNG or JPEG files and no more than 800 pixels wide
