Help on information pages

The D&T Online information pages all have a similar structure. They are all designed to give you useful information on the various topics covered by D&T Online, using a combination of text, pictures and animations.

At the top of each page is a button bar which looks like this.

Here's what each button does.

Clicking on this button takes you to the main D&T Online menu.

Clicking on this button takes you the the help page you are now reading.

Clicking on this button takes you to the contents page for the current section.

Clicking on this button takes you to the previous page in the current sequence.

Clicking on this button takes you to the next page in the current sequence.

Below the button bar, most pages have a picture or animation. To speed up access to D&T Online over a relatively slow 'phone line, a small thumbnail version of each picture will normally be sent. Clicking on the thumbnail picture will replace it with a full size version. This effectively puts you in 'full size picture' mode - so all subsequent pages will arrive with a full size picture. If you don't want this to happen, just click on the full size picture to toggle it back to thumbnail size.

Any textual information appears after the picture.

At the bottom of the page is a copyright message.

To return to the page you came from click on the 'up arrow' button at the top of the page, or click here.
